Hemp is naturally pest and disease-resistant and can be cultivated with minimal fertiliser and water, lowering the environmental impact of its production. Similar to Linen, Hemp is highly breathable, moisture absorbing and durable
'Mano Della Nonna', meaning literally 'grannie's soft hand' is an a special finishing - the fabric has been laundered in very small batches, one roll at the time. The final look is similar to the old linen sheets, hand washed in the country basins or even in a water stream and not ironed. Creases are more evident and the fabric is more dense because of a special pre shrinking process
